about
the EZ/RC Locator |
| |
The
EZ/RC Locator is the second prototype
of an Internet application that the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) is developing with Environmental Systems Research
Institute, Inc. (ESRI). The EZ/RC Locator will provide users with easy access
to mapping tools and HUD data to support housing and community development
programs at the state, county, city, and neighborhood levels. |
| |
The
Internet application prototype will allow federal, state, local agencies,
as well as the general public, to view HUD housing and community development
data together with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Federal
Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and U.S. Census Bureau
(2000 and 1990) data. Additional features and data resources will be added in the
future, building to a full production release of the application later
in 2002. |
